Dusit Central Park, Rama IV

The Dusit Central Park development, located at the intersection of Silom and Rama IV roads in Bangkok, is a large-scale, mixed- use project developed by Dusit Thani Public Company Limited and Central Pattana Public Company Limited. This ambitious project is spread over a 440,000 square meter area and involves an investment of 36.7 billion baht.Set to be completed in 2025, it encompasses multiple high-rise buildings and aims to create a modern urban hub integrating high-end residential, office, retail, and the Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel.

The new iteration of this iconic hotel will feature 259 rooms all with Park-facing views through huge light gold glazed, aluminium framed bay windows projecting out from precast panel walls.

Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside are luxury residential units with park facing balconies and duplexes, utilising high performance double glazing in a custom strip window system.

Central Park Offices is a Class A office building with a high performance glazed fully unitised curtain wall. The serrations allow directed views over the Park and maintain privacy for the Residences.

Central Park Shopping Center covers around 130,000 square meters and is expected to offer a blend of shopping, dining, and leisure experiences topped by a large external landscaped park with expansive views over Lumpini Park.

Facade Associates scope stretches from concept through tender documentation to shop drawing reviews and site inspections. We designed and fully detailed a huge range of facade types for the project including a large bay window system with panoramic

2.9m x 4.8m single piece light gold double glazed units, several types of tall frameless glazing for the Hotel Ballroom and rooftop, a unique serrated fully unitised floor-to-floor glazed curtain wall system carrying full height sel-finished GFRC cladding, external slip-resistant glass floors and glass-bottomed pools, steel- reinforced long span semi-unitised systems for double height lobby spaces, and various types of rainscreen cladding from expanded mesh to GFRC to roll-coated aluminium.
